Hey... This is our first chance to light something with the red. Here are some test pics... all heavily graded, there is some slight noise because these frames were taken using the "half res" option in redcine.

I really like the lighting!

These look great. So sharp, we'll be going back to using filters.

Our arri STD. Mount pl adapted set 16. 24. 32. And 85mm t2....

Tiny lenses with awesome images!

Awesome work ! I love the lighting and grading !

Can I ask what you graded in ? Was there a consistent T-Stop ?

Cheers !

I was gonna ask the same…

Very, very, very nice! There's a couple of spots where one particular light is a bit too strong, washing off every bit of detail from the subject, but this may not be as apparent in a motion clip. Other than that, this looks the most filmic I've seen from what has been posted here so far.

light is not too strong. Everything is well within the dynamic range of the camera before timing. When adding this much contrast, and limiting the dyamic range with the time, you have to to time each shot individually.

Hey can we see one of the shots before your grade? Could be rather interesting :-)

only used 113GIGS on a 12 hour day...I would suspect that even a much faster day we would only use 1 or 1.5 red drives!!

soooo NICE!
