  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Red store hollywood

was there yesterday and got a sneak preview...it is COOL

No, they have to be sent directly to M-X facility in Lake Forest (which is different location than RED Lake Forest). So, the store being open at RSH does not affect M-X program processes.

I hope stock availability will be computerized. For instance, if on the Internet I order a CF card and it is the last one in stock... then someone walks in and that last one on the shelf is picked up and sold to the walk-in customer before shipping has a chance to package it and send it to me. That means that although I purchased the last available card first, I will not receive that last one, first.

RSH Store has its own inventory - just like a normal retail location. Has nothing to do with direct online purchases that are fulfilled out of RED Lake Forest. Granted, if we are out of something at RED Lake Forest, we probably won't have it at the RSH Store.

So, no, if you order online, someone cannot come in to the RSH Store and take your allocated item. Totally separate inventories.

Store looks great I got pre-tour yesterday. You can pick up a lots of great Red items from t-shirts to lenses :). Red guys are working hard to make this happen.

New York seems the likely place for a second US store... but can I just say EAST COAST. My vote is for DC of course... perhaps for your third US location.

Its not of direct interest to me... but what are the smart places for a theoretical RED store Europe? I'd guess near London, because of Pinewood, Shepperton and Teddington.

Sad but those are the ONLY major EU studios I know by reputation, and I think they are all owned by one company now. I'd love to learn more.

Heh, heh, that's more to my taste. Nelloproductions, on the other hand, is mostly airwall and dreamboard.
