Red Station USB-C 3.1 Gen2 or Thunderbolt 3

Hey,
with all the new fast connections,... is there any reason why Red Station couldnt be made in 3.1 GEN2 or even Thunderbolt 3 versions? Maybe we should do a petition
Sonnet already has a double version but i would prefer a smaller version for travels:

Would help to shortn offload times I guess.

The mini mags are not that fast ~ 400 MB/s
