Black Magic 2.5K camera price drop.

[BRANDON JAMESON]

"From today the Blackmagic Cinema Camera EF and MFT models will be reduced in price to US$1,995. "

[Drew Baird]

AND shipping on 4k cinema cameras will be delayed by a month.

At least...

[paul schefz]

and the pocket camera seems to be shipping in small numbers....
i really like what they are doing...2000$ is a steal, i am still waiting to see if they will bump the 4K model to anything more then 12 stops DR....but either way one of these will find its way into my bag this year....

This just gives an idea of the margin they make on these cameras, to be able to make such a price drop. I wonder when Red is going to drop their prices on Scarlet/Epic ;-)

[Adam Johnson]

Maybe on Scarlet - but Epic price just got cut in half not to long ago already! What more can you ask for! ;-)

There was a kick starter or a cool looking DVXuser horror film shot on it, was seeking finishing funds I think. Barry Green and others signed on for it.
