Luckily I live in LA so I'm driving to NAB I'll post some pics of the progress. I'm thinking I'll make them autonomous but also allow remote control, that way I can make the Red R be the key to allowing the use of the remote.

Brainstorming your laser idea...how about three laser beams shooting off the three red spots, casting "R" letter at the surface where those beams are hitting at. Something like the Batman light beam signal that he send out to the air. Yeah, if those red beams can cast R's in the air during the NAB, how cool would that be? I don't know if this would break any regulations of NAB, but, hey, someone could check it out.

Curt, can you remove the innards of a Roomba vacuum cleaner and somehow use that operating system to get it to walk around and detect objects and walk around them? Oh, and dont forget the lasers and silly string.
