She's here.

She's beautiful.

But I can't turn her on.

:torsten_violent-smi

As a man I'm at least pleased to say this is unfamiliar territory.

It's funny.

And sad.

My family is making jokes about me.

OHHHHHH how we'll show them, won't we girl!

Going to go play with my wooden Camera handles and V mount/quick back now.

Such a beautiful piece of equipment guys, you can't help but fall in love the moment you open the box.
Everything just reeks of incredible attention to design, quality and detail.

Best Wishes all

Lliam

Congrats, good to see that they are making their way home!

Hey Liam,

What city are you in? There is probably an Epic owner nearby that would let you do some basic setup using their touchscreen or loan you a side handle. At least you could set some basic parameters and monitor via HDMI or HD-SDI.

If you're in Sydney I'd be happy to help out.

Congrats Lliam, is it the 1st one here in Australia?
Have you got the LCD to control her once you fire her up?

Hi Jan,

It's the first I am aware of. She actually touched down on the 28th but got held up in customs with the holidays.
Re LCD, no. My Touch, Side Handle and Redmote are all still in backorder unfortunately. I'm a pretty patient guy though, I'm happily busy and unlike others who are doing it tough I don't have work pending immediately on using my Scarlet.

Hi Jim,

I'm based on the Central Coast, Copacabana Beach. So your offer is fantastic. I go away Saturday on a writing retreat for ten day to Byron and my Rep advised
my Touch should have shipped by then, so hopefully will be waiting when I get back. If it hasn't though, I would really appreciate being able to take you up on your offer.

Best Wishes

Lliam

Awesome news Lliam. Lucky you can't use it yet or you wouldn't be able to concentrate during your writer's retreat.

Congrats Liam. Now, show us the money :) (clips, tests, pictures, anything! :) )

Sorry Sergio, but if you'd said.... SHOW ME THe MONEEEEEEEYYYYYYY!!!! Then...

Thanks mate :) Unfortunately as per my previous posts, I wont be doing any shooting just yet. I can take some pictures of another Scarlet in the wild if you want me too... Seemed a little redundant.
But I'll be doing a huge amount of tests soon and start shooting my feature on her mid year, so you'll be sick to death of me soon enough :)

Best Wishes

Lliam

Hey Sean, thanks mate :) And that's entirely true. I sincerely don't think I would get through the other work I need to if I had her up and running.
