RAVEN's Dragon sensor is in the realm of S35 and APS-C sized sensors and that's pretty much what it is.

So is everyone in 25fps-land, basically the rest of the world outside the US, missing out on 3:1 compression like 3k on the Scarlet being 48fps but not 50fps and so therefore unusable, or can we all get involved in the loveliness?
Before this gets lost in a 1000 page thread, does anyone know about this? What is the lowest compression at 4k 25fps?
I'm really bad with math, so to figure out what my lenses are in relation to my FS7 (Super 35mm 1.5x crop compared to FF), should I go 1.76 - 1.5 = 0.26
So an 11mm Tokina would be 11mm x 1.26 = 13.86 mm on the Raven?
Is that correct? Or is that just totally off?
11mm on 1.5x is 16.5mm
11mm on 1.76x is 19mm <-- Raven
Phil, any mention of the bird's power draw in your chat with Jarred?
Phil, in some forums some people say 120fps@4k 13:1 will be really noisy. what do you think?
Also, do you think they will keep the anamorphic mode locked ?
Thanks in advance,
cheers

Me very interested too
ditto on the Nikon mountI'm so surprised there is no Nikon fixed mount.
If we are talking "traditional" FF35, let's crop that to a FF aspect ratio of 1.90:1 because we care about width more than anything.
That should be 1.76x relative to FF35 and 0.83x relative to S35.
Sorry for picking this up again but I got a bit confused here.
The Raven has a 4K Dragon sensor - so it's a smaller version of the original 6K Dragon sensor and not that one just cropped in, right?
Cause I used the REDTools app to figure out the crop factor (Dragon 6K sensor at 4K) and it states a crop factor of 1,49x
I take it this information only applies to the originak 6K Dragon sensor cropped and not the new 4K Dragon sensor?!
That would also mean that THEORETICALLY there could be an update to use the full 6K in the future.
Raven has a 4K cut-out of the 6K (and eventually 8K) Dragon sensor. So that means there is a full 6K Sensor in the Raven but the internal boards etc restrict it to the "4K crop" ?!
Therefore the crop factor should be 1.49x (if the REDTools app isn't lying to me)
