[FS: RED Gear] Red Pro Primes 6 lens set w/ case $6300

[Mark Andersen]

All lenses are very clean, glass is perfect. housing are perfect. Case is in good shape. Asking $6300 and actual shipping fees, OBO.

The RPPs have their flaws, they're heavy and don't rent well many places. That said, for $1,000/lens with case...

If I was embarking on an indie feature and only needed S35 coverage I'd pick up a set of RPPs for $6K happily. Heck, you could sell them after the show for close to what you paid and use the cash for post. Don't let the negative "noise" about the RPPs drown out the core value proposition - good optics, fast, good contrast, decent color matching, reasonable focus throw for racks/pulls, etc.

If I was a recent RED buyer who wanted to add cinema glass to my kit, an RPP set in a bomber case for $6K would be great bang for the buck. Moreover, they would likely impress the crap out of most clients and help justify the rate you're hoping to get. Just sayin'

I agree, They are very useful in many instances but I don't need them anymore and just want to clean out the closet so to speak.
