¿Anyone knows a system to work in Helicopters?. We can´t mount the red one in Wesscam or Cineflex, so If anybody knows a good idea about this I´ll very happy. We are going to shoot, the next April in Norwey ( We don´t want a "Tyler platform" or similar) and we need it. Thanks

Phil,

I have supplied wired remote switches, extension cables, also have made Preston FI+Z cables for RED.

PM your Requests.

Hovercam were interested in testing our Red at the Video Forum show (I wasn't there for the show but I saw a rather awesome Zepplin-type device they were setting up - I don't know if they meant for this?!) The only downside was that they'd have to make a custom power lead to power it which we were a bit nervous about at the time!

When I worked with the Wesscam/Pictorvision brothers, they had an on/off for the RED they built themselves.

...So I know they have one!

PS...we flew a Cooke 10-1, and all was well!

Just an update-

Been working with Ralph over at Spacecam. We've successfully mounted the Red with relative ease. With help from Brent @ RED & Pana-Tech, they were able to power the camera from their system, and integrate their remote/start stop. We believe the Red-Drive will work fine.

We'll find out Thursday, as we fly over the Vegas strip.

Hi we have just finished shooting with the Red One on our HoverCam's with great success. We have remote rec & lens controls fitted.

We are fitting the Red One to our Flir Ultramedia II mount & will be testing this soon on full size helicopter.

Giff.

Red + Tyler Nose Mount = NG.

Good shooting and best regards,

Leo
