Has anyone shot with a Modula and a Red One MX? We have been testing our Red One MX with a Modula mocon and a problem with the triggering of the camera
came up. The Red MX is attached to the Modula with a sync cable provided by MRMC to trigger the start/stop of the camera. It's a 4 pin lemo and it's attached to the to one of the ports at the back of the camera. During our early attempts, port (A) is configured for record and every time the camera is triggered from FLAIR the camera would run but ignore the signal to stop. I would press the record button of the camera to stop the recording and it stops (timecode not running) but the lamp indicator for recording would still be lit and the screen would go black. I would always restart the camera manually since it would hang.Today we were a bit more successful, camera would start and stop (new Flair software) but during a 200 frame test, the camera would record but not stop recording. I would check the recorded clips and they would playback fine, scary though since the camera would hang or the screen goes black. Inputs would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

We had similar problems with two MOCO systems and just had to resort to manual start and stop with rig-triggered bloop lights in frame.

Thanks for the reply Fetchko. We've been testing the rig again and Peter Rush of MRMC checked the trigger cable for the Red camera. Peter reworked the pin configuration of the cable and it worked, must have been an error in how the cable was initially configured. Now Flair triggers the Red at the start of the move and stops recording at the end of the move.
