  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

RED ONE M-X Sensor Upgrade Program

Tim,

That's why we have been seeing the lease/purchase and option purchase arrangements pop up on all the Stage 2 cameras.

Most existing owners will continue to be "registered" with Red during the life of those existing contracts.

Sorry, delivered March 08, it was actually invoiced much earlier.

That said, we just got our email this morning. It's on the plane on Friday.
 
I just sent off #812. I am so excited. Ours was delivered March 08.

Guys,

It is really important to follow all shipping instructions that you get from the MX department. The upgrade is going on in a completely different building (still in Lake Forest) than our headquarters. If it is shipped to the wrong building, it will add time.

Red #508 was sent off today for the M-X upgrade. (It was delivered around March 22, 2008, due to the, uh, nonlinearity of the Red ordering process and accounting setup at that time - two groups late.) Also pulled the trigger on Epic Stage 2, and got the Red Rocket along with the M-X upgrade. Can't wait!

Congrats on the upgrade, Sanjin; I love your pioneer spirit and the grace with which you've handled the bumps in your experimental journey. I also appreciate your low-light/natural light fetish, and look forward to what you will do with M-X.
 
Well, Red One #500 "Stalker", delivered end of Feb. 2008, has not received her e-mail upgrade notification yet. I guess it will be for the next batch. Odd however how some people announce having received their cameras in March and are already eligible to upgrade...

Seems like only recently it was a 3 week turnaround, and you guys are doing it in 3 days now? Impressive recovery, ladies and gentlemen!
