  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

RED + NAB party April 7th @ 8pm

No registration for the RED + NAB party. There will also be a more intimate gathering that will be determined at a later time.

I'm still trying to find out what I need for the REDUcation portion offered at NAB.

Its two days long and wondering if I should bring my Scarlet.

How I understand it's four 4 hr classes and they all are the same. But I could be wrong.

To be fair RED had a presentation and most believed there would be information revealed, but that wasn't the case. I don't expect all those at last years to come out this year. That said, I'm guessing the official NAB party would have a venue to hold a lot of people.

I would never recommend bringing your gear to a tradeshow (unless you are actively shooting as press or something). Any REDucation-related stuff, Brian and his team always have units allocated for that. Not BYOC : )
 
I guess I won't make the party. I won't be in Vegas yet. If they do anything additionally we would love to know. Thanks

Thanks Brent, Brian was kind enough to fill me in.

I wasnt aware that the NAB REDucation was Post only.

I would rather not bring my camera, I plan on walking a lot :)
 
Hmm, too bad I have work to do on 7th...
But I'm at NAB from 8th or 9th to 11th so I'll make sure to stop by at your booth every day I'm there (I hope you guys don't mind)! =)

Peter, a lot of people I have been speaking to aren't going to be there until the 8th or 9th (us included). Maybe Red will do something additional.
 
We have something special planned for our friends and family tuesday after the show.

Amazing! Does it have anything to do with the supermeet? And should I blow off the supermeet because of timing? And thanks jarred.
 
To be honest, I went to the supermeet last year and was pretty underwhelmed. Ended up blowing it off half way through to go to the AJA party. Best decision ever. (Or worst, my wallet is arguing that one)
