Just wonder,
Is there coming any device to mount the Red Mattebox to 19mm rods?
We sent some sloppy made drawings to our Fine mechanics guy a few days ago and the result just came back... all carbon fiber and brass. But I guess aluminum would be a better, the carbon is a pain in the work with, and the fibers where in the wrong directions, and we made it way to thin around the rods... etc. To make a long story short it broke when we tested it for the first time... But the idea is good. So please red or somebody with pations make such device that clamps on to the rods and holds the mattbox in place even when using odd sized lenses etc. I hate to carry more than one matte box. And if we all are going to start to shoot with canon glass and what not, then we would need a multi fit solution for the RED mattbox.
