"Face Detect AF was released in OCT 2022 for Red Komodo, only usable thru the RED Control App. I tested this feature on some very difficult, constantly moving subjects - a 5 yr old and 2 yr old. Also did some continuous AF tests. Not as good as Sony AF, but definitely usable, especially if face is large in frame and well lit. I was very impressed how it kept focus when I got very close."
