Hi! I am on a shoot and we just turned on a komodo we used the previous day. There is a display showing everything like the white balance and other exposure tools etc. however, the image we are getting is a white screen. Any ideas on what this is? We have tried calibrating, and a factory reset.

I’m sorry, that’s a terrible feeling when something like that happens mid-shoot!

I think you’ve taken the correct steps. The other thing I’d do is just to make sure all the LCD tools are off.

Have you tried recording footage? Does the footage look ok? Does an external monitor show the same thing?

Thanks for replying! So we checked it out again and did a test recording, but the footage was white still. Hopefully someone has an answer to this. Feels like it came out of no where. The camera was not dropped at all, and was working perfectly fine for a full 8 hour day previously.

Factory reset your camera. Try another perviously completely erased and newly formatted memory card from a RED approved brand and a different lens. If the error persists it's a case for the service.
