RED is taking 6 months to ship the Raptor to the EU

This is about Eastern Europe within the EU.

I have pre-ordered the V-Raptor about 6 months ago and paid it in full.

The official dealer is saying, that my order is the 1st for the region. Still no camera. So why is RED not able to ship even 1 camera in 6 months to the EU?

As far as I know, many Raptors have been available in the US.

There are Raptors all over the world now. Camera has been out for 6 months. I would lean on your retailer and have them chat with RED. Are they normally a RED dealer?

Also, what part of the world are we talking about?

It is Bulgaria. On paper Bulgaria is within the EU...

Yes, they are talking directly with RED, I have seen the mails. At 1 point, RED wanted to increase the price for an item that was already paid in full, which of course was not logical, so they dropped that idea.

Anyway, not 1 camera has been able to reach Bulgaria.

Official answer:

"RED have hit some further supply chain issues that have prevented them from outputting the planned number of V-RAPTORs so there is currently a delay on shipment from the US of the next batch of cameras. They are working on a recovery plan at this time and hopefully we should have some positive news over the next week. If everything goes to plan we expect they may be in a position to ship V-RAPTORs at the end of April."

Yes, I know there have been some Raptors in stock around the EU, but I have already paid my camera in full, so it will be a hassle to get the money back... I hope it will arrive soon, its been almost 2 months since last time they tried to ship it.
