  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Red iPhone apps?

Ed -

What does it cost to sell it at the AppStore? Your app looks great and I would certainly purchase it from iTunes. $9.99 without thinking twice.

Is getting it through iTunes the only way to install it to the phone?

I want this.

Hi Ed,
By all means please put your app on the Apple Store! We'll all be happy for you to be rewarded for your work.

Looks great!

Best regards,

Leo

I would paypal to see it on the store. PM me if you decide to put it up.

Thanks

A lot of people have been turned down from the app store so it is not just a matter of paying the $100. In fact more were turned away than accepted.

Looks like a cool app. Make it useful to a wider audience and with some luck you could get it in the store and make a bundle.

I'm in! By the way, what is the "trailblazer" tab for?

Jannard has connections, doesn't he? :clown2:

Hi all, thanks for the support.

I realize apple will have to view the code and then sign off on it, if it is to be accepted. That is standard distribution practice. So there is no guaranty that they will accept it. Still, I'll give it a shot. I still think they are taking the Mickey with their fees though.

The 'TrailBlazer' tab was going to be for showing menu guides, which could be zoomed using the touch interface, but the sdk is so woefully short of example code I think that'll have to wait a while.

Instead I have added a spunky little app that tells you what the max frame rates and timebases are for your set up.

That's pretty slick, Ed. Good luck to you (and to us)!

I went to buy an iPhone at the Apple store in NYC the other day, but they had just sold out of the black 16GB one that I wanted. They made the announcement just when I was about to get in line. At least I didn't have to wait in line for hours before I found out....

Ed, count me in as another customer for your app.

Everyone with an iPhone and who works in proximity of a Red will buy/download this and other apps and be glad to pay for them!

I can't wait!
