RED in Chicago

I've been hoping this thread would pop up, and I guess it just did. Who has ordered REDs in the Chicagoland area? What plans do you have with it? Are you planning on renting it out?

Maybe we can set up a user group and get together after the first of us gets one.

And am I the only one in Chicago that is actually in Chicago? Three responses from LA, and one from Nawlins. I feel so . . . provincial. Oh well, there goes my hope for a RED Bootcamp.

I strongly wish I could but I've got to settle with my HVX for the time being. I could maybe swing the Red camera body...but I'd be at a loss for lenses, support gear, computing power, ect. I'm hoping to get one around December of 07', right at x-mas, my family members shouldn't be expecting gifts this upcoming year... Okay...maybe I'll buy some stocking stuffers for everyone, like Red T-shirts and stickers...

I used to live in Chicago and I if I do not move back, I want to find a way to stay for a week or so at a time to work on projects, shoot stock footage, enjoy the town, do a little bikram yoga, and go thai food crazy!
