Used but in fine condition and everything works.

Condition of payment is money wired into our RED account and upon receipt the EVF will be mailed to you or (and preferable to me) you can meet me in Orange County and I will have it on a camera so you can personally check it out and take delivery.

The price is USD$ 5,000. I cannot negotiate any lower as I am simply assisting another party and that is their price. Fair disclosure: I have seen other EVF's for sale cheaper so I would suggest that you scan this board for other EVF's before buying this one.

Please no negative comments - I stand to make nothing from this transaction personally.

Thank you.

I can see your point. The fact is that I have an extra and I am in an odd position in how I have to sell it - can't ebay it for example, though that was my first inclination. The second item is that if I can't sell it for more than $5K then it is basically not worth it due to administrative hassles. The buyer won't be from around here (though that would make it a lot easier for all) but will probably be from overseas. Is it a price gouge? Let me put it this way: I am not forcing anybody to buy it but if they need an EVF right now then I got one for sale and if they need it this badly (say they have a shoot scheduled and they want an EVF for it but none are available) then I say good for me and good for them.

No harm done to anybody whether it sells or not.

Thank you.

Are administrative hassles anything like Imperial entanglements?

Not being personally familiar with an Imperial Entanglement, I cannot say for sure but, knowing well my administrative hassles I think mine actually may be worse!

I was just messin with ya charlie;-) mines not for sale.

but anyone who needs one.. there ya go..
charlies your man

I guess you cant get them anymore yah?

Also, I should have noted that I stand nothing to gain from this personally at all - it is on the behalf of a third party and hence why the payment method has to be so weird and I cannot ebay it.

This doesn't sound shady at all.

If you want an EVF, you can get one here (link below) for $2,900.00 (OBO)

Or ... you can buy Andrae's (with an ET mount included) for $4,200.00 (S+H included)

I'm sure you're going to get it for this posting. At least have some tact and don't put pricing....how about contact for pricing or go to your e-bay account so that folks can have a look or laugh.

That was good advice but the only payment that works is a deposit into a RED account - can't take cash, PayPal, or a check or a money order. I also can't negotiate the price. All I can tell people is to look for another EVF at a cheaper price first.

Thanks for the warning though!
