We are pleased to officially announce RED EUROPE, located on the grounds of the esteemed Pinewood Studios in Buckinghamshire, England.

Over the next month we will commence partial operations, starting with facilitating the AUDIO UPGRADE PROGRAM for our customers, as well as full camera service and an accelerated emergency repair program.

Carl Ward will be in charge of Operations for RED EUROPE, and Our Head Field Tech Ivan Kadlec will be overseaing the technical functions.

Customers that are geographically closer to RED EUROPE will be directed to send thier cameras to the new facility for the upgrade rather than RED HeadQuarters in California.

Please note that during Construction, the facility will not be open to the public.

That is awesome! Congrats to Red and all the European Red Users. I am very stoked for you guys...

Everything will go through customs hell

I thought this would solve the situation for you and several of my friends in Europe? That's why I was genuinely excited for everyone... and The Red Team.

Everything will go through customs hell

Are you sure?

Wikipedia says:
"With respect to travel between EU members where one is non-Schengen, there are identity (passport) checks, but no customs checks; this applies, for instance, between Ireland or the U.K. and the European Continent."

Miltos, that can be great news. I hope it applies to goods.

Pinewood??

This must be a scam!

Congrats to Jim, the whole Red Team, and new UK crew!!

Bravo!!

I think I know a certain CEO that just had a bad day -

Might have been a scam... until I confirmed it with my own eyes a few weeks back :-)

It's the perfect location for our operations there. I think you will all be very pleased and impressed.

+ Ted

Yes, Paolo. Our greek fellow Miltos is completely right. Schengen is as far as borders control applies. On the rest, a few territories aside as for instance, Gibraltar or Canarias, everything is the same and common territory. So, we are safe.

Thanks mate.

This will help indeed Jarred, Jim and Ted. So much appreciated.

This doesn't mean that Gibraltar or Canarias are not Europe, of course. But for the taxes purpose these territories are out of that same and common territory. A customs free territory 'cause is considered an internal one comprehending the 27 different european countries and respective nations.

Man London flights are cheaper than most of the year!
