  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Very cool! Have you thought about using a 35mm anamorphic PL lens and putting it on rotated at 90 degrees? That would give you a 4:1 aspect ratio. I've been thinking about doing that...

Dragon supports 8:1 and 4:1, but it has no concept about vertically-squashed, rather than horizontally-squashed anamorphic. That would be a case where you just fill the digital sensor with something you understand, and then unwrap it to the proper aspect ratio in post.
 
Looks great! Something about that ultra-wide aspect at a high frame rate is mesmerizing. Pretty impressed with the detail too for only 640 vertical pixels. Nice work!
 
WOW that's a great shot! Great work, wonder if my epic X can do that? maybe I should start using it =)
