  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

RED EPIC and LEICA R Lens Music Video

this was my first time working with the leica r lenses. I was impressed with the look of the lens, and color. the whole shoot was run and gun due to lousy weather and short amount of time with the artist who is currently on tour who was stopping in Pittsburgh for a show.

I know I wouldn't have been able to get away with this on the red one, and due to the epics lightness and versatility we were able to get the shots and look we needed.
 
The weather kind of adds to the mood. Some cool looking shots in there. Those Leica R are really nice. Would love to add a few of those to my kit someday.
 
thanks guys! To answer to whether or not the director used twixtor is no. We shot at different fps. (a variation of 24, 96, and 120). The weather and color grade definitely help set a mood/tone for the video.

I would love to shoot on the leica r lenses again soon.
