Cheers Andrew. I firmly believe that Dragon is the highest quality digital cinema camera available at this point. Though I will point out that's odd to say that evening before NAB.

However, I've used and stress tested everything else. I know what the other cameras can do. Even know a bit about what a couple of the cameras being announced by other manufacturers this evening can do. Dragon can do a lot. And that means something.

You can shoot it poorly and make some funky looking images. Shooting it right though, that's where the joy is. You have access to resolution, color, dynamic range, and a workable latitude not found elsewhere. I'm not the only one seeing this.

Seriously, if there was something better within reason I'd be shooting with it.

Very good post, Phil.
You're doing such a great job, Jim and Jarred might just hire you to be in the RED team.[/QUOTE]

+1 As Red needs PR, Phil deserves this position.
BTW you should go back in a year later or sooner.
This time you will speak the same language with them ( Red language of course).
As a man shares the knowledge = priceless.

Mission almost completed ( you still need to go back at least 2-3 more times).

Heh. We'll see. Maybe there's a position at RDC for me. I am primarily a shooter. Maybe consulting/advocate/weirdo Digital Imagins Specialist :)

I picked up a few Korean phrases here and there, but it was upsetting I couldn't speak their language. My translator Martin and also Joseph who filled the other half of the time being my voice did a great job. I was surprised that we were able to get a bit more technical when questions arose.

I'm nearly certain I'll be apart of a few more of these in the future. I really like the SK guys too, so they might lure me back sooner even :)
