Getting some odd behavior from Resolve 10b3 Lite. I'm very new to Resolve -- so not sure if it's just something that I am doing wrong or if something is up with my system. I've reinstalled the program twice with the same results.

Upon starting the program I get this error:

At full/half res -- the clips play back fine with no issues whatsoever.

But at quarter/eighth/sixteenth -- this weird thing happens:

Anyone have any ideas as to what is going on?

Restart Davinci (and better yet your whole computer). This just happens, especially when RAM or video RAM is running low. Do not try to multi-task other apps (close them all) and it will happen less often.

Hey Robert - do you think that it could be from not having enough RAM in my computer? I just removed a bad stick so I'm stuck with only 4gb currently. VRAM should be fine since it's a brand new card with 3gb on it.

I'll try getting some more RAM (which I need to do anyway) and see if the problem stops.

Thanks Peter -- the issue wasn't happening when I had all my RAM in, and started once the stick died. Guess I should've put 2 and 2 together.

Thanks for the help guys. Hopefully when my new RAM arrives I'll be good to go.
