  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

RED DAY Vegas 2010 - REGISTRATION OPEN

I be staying there with a MBP. If it will work in the convention area, you're welcome to it.

If I wasn't going,I'd want to watch the fun. It's a nice thing you are doing

One change I'm considering this year, is spreading the raffle throughout the day. So there would be a few opportunities to win in case you can't stay until the end. Biggest prize would of course be at the end. Give people incentive to stay (not that anyone needs any incentive) and it's a good way to send everyone off. I'm thinking big on this one, really big. Whether I'm successful, we'll see. :-)

I think that's the best way. No need to impose limits. I think what we saw in '08 is that one guy who did well at the FCP super meet and the RED event bought a crapload of tickets and had a fair amount of luck on his side. Finner and I were commenting how we should grab the guy and head for the blackjack tables.

I'm not sure if this has been answered yet, but has a time been established when RED DAY will begin on the 14th, and is there any cost for entry? I may be in San Francisco on the 12th and make may way back through Vegas on the 14th on the way back to Texas. Thank you my friends. Hope to meet many of you at the event.

Time TBD, but if I have my way....

In terms of filming the event and broadcasting it, that too remains TBD.

True...we haven't exactly gotten permission from you. :smile5:
Requires clearance from presenters and some other logistics. That's all in the works though, so we'll let everyone know as soon as possible.

Steve,

Have you considered color coding raffle tickets based upon value of the prize? Red, white and blue where red is $2 each 10 for $15. White is $5 each 5 for $20 and Blue is $10 each 7 for $50. Using a graduated value scale for ticket colors such as: Red tickets are good on prizes with a value up to $100. White tickets for values between $101 to $300, and Blue from $301 up.
