  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

RED DAY Vegas 2010 - REGISTRATION OPEN

forgive me if this was asked already, but were we supposed to receive some sort of confirmation email after registering? I'm kind of in the dark here.
 
Well uh... I don't know what session I'll be in or anything, or whether there'll be a name-tag waiting for me at the front entrance at all. So if I don't get any sort of official word, I guess I can try again through the guest I was to bring...

This is all the info we got so far. We'll probably see more details the next few days before the show. :sifone:
 
The comfirmation you get on the website after you register is THE confirmation. No emails went out this year.

Details are coming, though some things will remain under wraps until day of the show. But we'll be giving you enough info to plan your day accordingly.
 
My Wednesday consists of:
9A.M. Wake up
9-10A.M - Check SU.com and RU.net for any tidbits
10-11AM Eat, take taxi/shuttle/run to Tropicana
11am-11pm - REDily accept any REDformation
 
well, I'll just plan the 14th off and it'll be a 4 hour road-trip from Arizona then. My main concern is whether there will be 'sessions' like the last time, in which case I'd need to make sure my buddy and I are in the same one (he signed up separately...)
 
To make sure we don't exceed capacity of the hotel, they have asked me to give a hard RSVP count. I hate to change policy midstream but it helps on a ton of levels if we have an accurate count - venue capacity, food, drinks (do we really want to run out of beer???), registration, etc. So, to keep everyone happy (esp the fire marshall), I have to ask that you register for the event. If you have guests, register them, too. And I have to ask that you do it before Monday, Apr 5. Please pass the word to other REDUSERs so everyone who wants to get in can do so. If we are getting close to capacity, I will post again here.

Thanks, guys. We want to make this event amazing. It would suck if we got shut down before it even got started.
 
And just to clarify, if you have already registered for the event, you are good to go. This is only for those who have not registered yet.

Time?
Room location at the Tropicana?
Agenda?

..I was also wondering about that..Is RED DAY part of the NAB happening at the same time? And if so will we need to register with NAB to get access to the Hall ?

NAB conferences: April 10 - 15, and the exhibits: 12 - 15 - at the Las Vegas Convention Center. RED DAY is on the 14th at the Tropicana. I believe you have to register for NAB separately to get onto the floor.. I registered online through the NAB website. Hope this helps..
