  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

I think the Renault is still a few seats short.

And newer, larger engines in trucks/SUVs aren't as polluting as many people think. It's all about what emissions come out of the tailpipe and with new emission standards and more eficeint motors / fuels, I would be more concerned about pollutants coming out of an '86 Toyota that's still on the road.

Also consider what else people do with their vehicles. The American demographic is a different situation. I drive something pretty big because I readily have to:

1 > Go off road
2 > Pull trailers
3 > Carry lots of people
4 > Do all of the above at the sime time while pulling steep mountain slopes.

...The wife and kids can drive that mini-van thing.

7.5L / 100km... That's roughly 31miles/gallon... Plenty of American vehicles do that these days. My big ol' Ford SUV runs diesel and gets about 17mpg under ideal conditions, maybe as good as 20mpg going down hill. I average 13.5mpg in reality - that's what the onboard computer says.

My wife's car averages about 26mpg -- showroom sticker claimed 34mpg, but we all know how that works. Wonder what that Renault really gets.

Third man... I think the only time the Cayenne has ever seen dirt was during that photo shoot for the pictures you posted. :)

Curt, you are right maybe. Anyway Cayenne Turbo S is the best SUV at the moment. Dirty or clean...
 
I'd buy one, except having that sticker on my car would be like saying "Hi, please break into my car because there's some really valuable stuff in here!"

Email sent. Algarve is a beauty. ALL Algarve. If you don't visit yet, when you'll know you'll understand why I can't recommend A instead B -- there isn't instead there but ALL as WHOLE. :) One day you'll comment this my post giving me your feedback, OK? ;)

Alright...and however but just by night I can recommend Albufeira. And well, I can recommend by day too!
 
I can guarantee you that there's enough room in Jim's truck. That thing is enormous, especially when you're standing next to it or sitting inside. I would be very afraid if it was coming my way ;)

I guess you can call it a civilian tank? :)
