Eric - MHD has a small 3D Library - but the market crashed fir stock materials... so have not been looking at expanding it unless that market changes.

Thanks for that, no worries (I though that might be the case); maybe we stop being cheap and shoot some stuff (at the appropriate point) I love that frame of Peter Majtan's of the wasp's compound eye... That's such a great graphical representation of 8K capability and what you really get from RED Helium 8k S35, better than a system MTF plot. Obviously we crave any complex textures at high res or anything that is impossible to laser scan such as transparent and super complex subjects and things of a very crisp but truly dynamic nature.

well - MammothHD Footage Library is in the process of launching the MHD/8K Galleries - featuring VistaVision and Helium s35 8K footage. Here are a few of the early samples from the Helium s35 (Storm Trooper Limited Edition) that we've received and added to the initial launch of our 8K gallery. Featuring the work of Peter Majtan, Stefano Ceccon and Jacob Schwarz... with more due in shortly from our other Helium and VistaVision owners.

Hi Resolution, low light, expanded color space, greater dynamic range.... and oh did I say more resolution! (8K=8192x4320 -> 4x4K, 16xHD)

Well - I have the privilege to be working on a special project with one of the few Dragon 8K VistaVison cameras in the wild.. and will be shooting ton of material the next few weeks - and will post a few of the frame grabs and a couple of previews of what I'm working on in VV8K... in just the first few sessions - love this camera and the large sensor look!

here's one of the early tests - studio ->macro (Canon 100mm/macro with extension tubes) - 23.98/23.98 one light with reflectors
