I'm running my RED Rocket to my Macbook Pro through thunderbolt chassis. This worked fine before I reformated my laptop. Now after installing latest Red Cine and Red Rocket driver I get this error on start up.

"Red Rocket #0 Driver and or Firmware is out of date.
This version of Red-Cine X requires Driver: 1.4.28.0 and firmware 1.1.16.8 to use this red rocket card"

Now I'm running 1.4.32.0 driver since thats the latest, but shouldn't be a problem right? Also when I try to turn it on in the program it just tells me its being used by another program, yet nothing else is open, tried restarting to no avail. Checked the system log and it does recognize the RED rocket. Anyone have an idea what could be going on?

You need to update the red rocket firmware. it is included with the Red Rocket Installer.

OS is updated...thought I did firmware, however I'll double check and run it again

the driver is different from the firmware, just want to make sure:-P If the system can identify the card i'm guessing your driver installed properly, so probably just missed the firmware update for the rocket.

Sounds like I'll have to upgrade it in my Mac Pro and try it from there.
