RED and blackmagic reel

[David Dominguez]

i made a new reel out of boredom recently. most of it was shot on the epic, and scarlet along with blackmagic cameras.

If you made the video out of boredom, then why do you want people to see it?

Jake, My guess is he was bored / had nothing to shoot, so he worked on he's reel instead... nothing wrong with that. Reel making is for rainy days.

Edit: My bad, that was a boring reel, but that does not necessarily mean its bad

Whenever people start with "it's a quick and dirty" video, demo reel etc. I just pass. My critique to you, never do anything out of boredom or quick and dirty, if you want people to pay attention to your work. Take your time and create something you can be proud of, rather than start your work with an explanation why your stuff doesn't work as well as it should. Exception being some camera tests of coarse...

yeah man, i get it. i didnt shoot the films in it "out of boredom". i just edited a reel together because i had nothing better to do.
