  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

RED Accessories...

When you really think about this, the options really are limitless as to what you can do with this back plate. I bet RED has a whole mess of these dovetail options. Tell me it's not over yet... Pleeeeeeeeease!
 
And again, why not make a battery plate that connects directly to the regular Epic module connectors? Why invent yet another interface (backpack with sliding dovetail) to do the same thing? Is it because the regular Epic module connectors are less rugged? Or...?
 
That battery plate looks great on the back of the Epic. Guess the RED Bricks are still a great margin for mounting on the EPIC. That, together with a battery in the hand grip.

Can you switch between the two for hot swapping? Take it you can... :-)

We've been able to use Red Bricks since the first Epic-M shipped. This is just a more elegant solution.

And if RED Bricks power the EPIC for about 2-3 hours, the 4 RED Bricks are only needed for virtually a days shooting!!!

The slow, painful trickle...

I'm trying to be patient and wait for everything to show up in the store, otherwise my bomb squad rep is going to get a separate order for every small piece. Attn: RED, you guys need a checkbox in our account profile where we can enable automatic ordering of all the new bits and pieces. :)

Yeah, that could be dangerous, but it would save me a lot of hassle on my road to the poor house.
