  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Yeah I overheard that earlier today either rumor or real, all I know is I'll be 5 minutes from the Red Store ready to nab up a set if they ship today.

I would hope, but I think there at least 6-9 months away. My guess is they'll be ready round the same time as the RED Dragon sensor.

But I could be wrong... :-)
 
Albert -yes I know Chad...but not sure how he would know -okay maybe I do know now. If this is true, man would I love to get my mitts on these...our feature is close at hand to start shooting, and well, we do know that 5K ANA is enabled in the Epic, but oh the speculation!

My guess about anamorphic lenses are based on something I think Jarred posted a whilst ago. That was to do with the rumored RED pro lenses for touch focus. I think Jeff posted he thought that they would come when the EPIC full frame i.e. RED dragon was out. Jarred's response was that was probably a safe bet.

So I'll go with the fact that RED will release new lenses (anamorphic and RED Pro touch) late next year.

Or I've been known to be wrong...

I woke up from a nap anxious to see if the products have been released...
