  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Will any new Epic-M's (ie ordered between now & the year's end... or before open purchase of Epic-X stage4 is available) have these new mounting points/updates - or will it still be a ship back to Red for mod on all M's, irrespective of ship date?
 
i have a chocolate addition. That was not nice. Ok. it was really nice. but in a very bad way.

The new points will begin with Epic-X's. That means all Epic-M's will come back.. You will know tomorrow why that is a really good thing.

The changes do not effect any OFFICIAL RED accessories that we have made or sold.

So are you saying i shouldn't of gotten Brook's/viewfactors top plate? I guess i'll have to wait and see.

I'm excited for tomorrow announcement. Been waiting to hear about the Red gunner for a long time now.

Jarred,

If my M has yet to ship (I think it will go end of this week or next) can it get the mounting points done before it leaves? It would mean I have more options for mounting etc and also can save the trip back.

No, The changes will not happen to any cameras until the EPIC-X program begins.

Remember.. we will work around your schedules to upgrade your cameras.. its not going to be a " send-your-camera-in-this-exact-week-or-your-screwed " kinda upgrade.
