That's classic. Jarred, has anyone told you that you have talent ... to make horror movies

Thanks for sharing. You can send the invoice to my attention when convenient.

Okay ... still a BIG teas, but a good one nonetheless.

Oooh - they're shaped like lenses!

Jarred, why do you keep posting CGI renderings of focus charts with one side slightly askew? Are we to believe that some theoretical lens is rendering those images?!?

Although please add my vote for some wide-open shots!

[Jarred Land]

heh heh heh....

[Dave Weber]

Now that's just down right mean!

[Craig Meadows]

Maybe a dumb question as everything is for sale but, will this prime be available individually or only in the prime set? (Since the RED primes seem to always be grouped as a set).

[Steve Sherrick]

The 300mm is available individually, we know that much.

[Evin Grant]

You've outdone yourself this time J-money.

[Jannard]

The reason we are selling sets is that prices are connected with volume production. If we sold individual lenses, they would be at a much higher price than buying the set. For example, 5 lenses set sells for about $20K (or about $4K per lens). If we sold those separately, they would have to sell for about $5K each. Still a bargain for the performance, but a significant penalty for cherry-picking.

Nice shot. The outline and narrow gearing reminds me of that old Canon 17-35 conversion. Something tells me this lens will be a little better than that...

[Matthew Duclos]

Hm. Looks nice.

[Gene Crucean]

I'm being pretty picky here but....

... needless to say I'm pretty blown away by these.
