  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Ready, Aim... Fire.

I'm really excited about RG3/RC3. This could be a real time-saver for the Studio-in-a-Bedroom movie-maker... like me.

RG3/RC3 might just put Technicolor and Deluxe out of business........just kiddin'.

;)

Are we talking before Monday Jarred?

Nope we are still tweaking. You are actually witnessing part of the process that goes on behind the scenes... We open up a ton of footage from brand-new-unreleased-firmware as well as camera firmware from all the way way way back to see what happens.. And as much as we have grown as a company Jim still guides the entire process.. Nobody does it better.

So cool. He has an amazing right hand, left hand man. The Primes, I'm guessing they will be expanded or new ones added but I am afraid to ask.

See now I'm in a theater checking this thread from my phone looking at all this radness. Getting real excited now.

Unleash the DRAGON!

..........please?

As I reflect... it is pretty scary to think that RED changed the industry when we had absolutely no idea what we were doing... :-)

Jim

Cant Imagine what will happen now you have the hang of it :-)

Wow, these are all amazing! I would love to see a RC2 vs RC3 Comparison on one of them. And the sharpness of those Red Pro Primes have just moved those up on my wish list ;)

Haha you make it sound like it was a long time ago... I guess it's all realative ;)

Yes, 'cause for some of the Scarlet group RED has been around for almost one-third of their lives. '-)

I love to watch my R3Ds continue to grow every day....

heh, heh, I think you lost the title of youngest Red camera owner when the Scarlet was released, Joseph.

I never had the title. My friend Tony Augustinack bought his EPIC-M 5 months before me. We have been working steadily since then in four different countries/3 continents, and he just bought his second EPIC. He's 7 months younger than me.

This stuff sure is fun. I can't remember having such a good time... :-)

Well, second place (for a while) wasn't bad.
