  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Raven Queue Put Together

Just got a call from my rep, and I'm going to be allocated today! So that puts us through to September 28th at 8:58 AM EST, also it was a Brain Only order in case that helps anyone wondering. :) Ill update the list once the official email comes through.

woohoo congrats. how quick do you think these orders will roll out now that first day bottleneck is over

Thanks! No idea, hopefully it will start ramping up, we've gone through the 26th into the 28th in just a week so thats a pretty serious uptick, not to mention jarred mentioned they bought more ovens to make more sensors so all good news in my opinion. :)

I'm assuming that it will take about another month before you actually get a Raven in your hands. I'm happy for you, but that will also mean that you wont' be updating the list???? After you receive the raven.

In any case, I think we should be done by the end of November and Mid-December by the end of August???

I had already paid in full so the order should star processing today or tomorrow, it sounded like I'll get it early next week. But I live in NYC real close to the Red Store, so that may be why it's such a quick shipment.

Either way I have no problem keeping the list updated, I have a pretty busy July and August for shoots, but I should be able to keep up as much as I have been. Whenever I'm home I'm usually on the forum anyways just seeing the news and what everyone else is shooting and what not, so it doesn't take much effort for me heh.

Honestly a shot in the dark but Late Summer/ Fall maybe? Not really sure. Your best bet is to go through Brent's post history If I remember correctly it was in the June update or maybe it was the May thread that he gave a bunch of estimates for the different time stamps, I'm sure that's still the best guess we have. But like always I wouldn't plan on having your camera for any upcoming shoots, the pessimist in me always says, "plan for the worst and be pleasantly surprised when things go well!"
 
Taking a total wild guess (as my pre-order is Jan 15) I'm hoping/betting that they will call my name by end of Sept. I was fully expecting to get my Raven by now for some big shoots in Aug. but that looks impossible now....

Congratulations! That's great news...and it's not even Thursday yet! ;-)
 
Nice guys! I should be able to pick mine up from RED HQ this week (Allocation 7/14 last week). Rep said about 3 business days before the cameras are able to be picked up. You can gauge how long shipping is to your area and go from there. Realistically, I would say a week to get your camera ready for shipping and then another week for a CONUS shipment.

Yeah I guess that is the right mindset to have about it. I'm just glad they're past the huge slowdown at the beginning. The only other one that might take some time is when they announced the price increase

I got allocated today. You can add me to the list, I ordered on sep.28 around 10:20 Am time. The wait sucks but at least my Rep Kevin S. has been awesome I cant stress enough how good his service has been. To those still waiting to get allocated hold tight it will be worth the wait.

Allocated today .....ordered 9/27 Looks like they are passed first day should go a lot faster now.
