  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Raven Queue Put Together

I think we need to either keep the thread updated on the front page or start a new thread - this backtracking gets tedious.
 
OP hasn't been active for a bit, so the front page hasn't been changed in a while. The thread gets bumped whenever there is an update to make once there is anything significant that affects the queue it will be one of the latest posts. I don't want to bump the thread every time anyone comments in here bc It's just gonna inflate the number of posts even more once people keep seeing the list refreshed thinking something changed. I don't see much reason to backtrack to the list until there is something new anyways.
 
Any new allocation? Aaa I'm getting worried!! :(
 
I haven't gotten allocated but my order on the red site went from being closed to open. Hope that means something. Ordered on 10/28

If you look at your order details on the RED website, there's a list of 'ORDER ITEMS' under each separate order. If you ordered a camera package, your deposit will be listed there as 'Invoiced' after you pay the deposit, then the individual items making up the package will be listed below it as 'New Order' items. If that itemized list of 'New Order' items wasn't there before, it suggests there may be progress on the processing of your order. I wouldn't read too much into it though, as there could still be delays before the overall order is ready to be invoiced.

Edit - I think Phillip might have actually been referring to the entire order (with the newly listed items added to it) moving to the 'Open Orders' section from the 'Closed Orders' section (where it was put after the deposit was invoiced).

True, it could just be the RED website side of things updating info, separate to any actual progress on the processing of the order itself.

Switched back to the Raven queue after seeing the great footage coming out from Ravens lately made me think Scarlet-W would be a bit overkill for my needs after all.
