  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Raven Queue Put Together

Just heard this from RED - "The process has been fairly slow to start off but should be speeding up here over the next month or so. Since there were such a high volume of preorders placed in September, it is hard to say when your preorder placed on 10/8 will be allocated. If I were to estimate at this point, I would say late June or July, but do know this is an estimate and have no definitive idea of when the allocation may take place. I would recommend holding off on planning any shoots or projects that revolve around the potential receipt of the RAVEN until we can provide a definitive idea of allocation."

Luka - Congrats man, thats a pretty big jump in timestamps, hope fully that means 39 - 49 got their tickets punched as well. Getting closer and closer to my name, hopefully next week!

Who knows, from what I've seen I think Thursdays are their blast day for the most part. But I'm just going off of when people post here, I'd wait and see if anyone else posts about being allocated after your timestamp, then if they do I'd reach out to your rep. Could be a timezone thing maybe the list is a little jumbled and they're working off of Pacific times.

Edit: If you translate Luka's timestamp from 4:19 PM Central European to Pacific it changed to 8:19 AM which would make more sense with everything else we've seen
 
^yeah that may be the case. I doubt all those other guys got their cameras.

If just going off of what we see in the timestamps (speculation really) next week we will see allocations until maybe mid-day Sep 25th. After that, the other camera lines open up and the wait will be longer. Again, this is just going off what has been happening and by no means what might or will happen. I hope I'm wrong!

I'm pretty sure there are some holes in the queue. We put in our order on Sept 5, and still have not heard a thing. I think it comes down to how good your rep is. We are a publicly traded social networking company, and our rep at Red vanished months ago. I think our account is not managed by anyone, either that or there is just not a lot of focus on corporate customers.

sept 5th? it wasnt even announced until sept 24th. maybe you meant 25th?

Your rep will change from time to time. In my case, my original rep got promoted in the time it took from my Raven to go from preorder to shipped. You can always call RED and they can make sure your rep gets in touch with you.
 
Yes, my mistake, Sept 25th. Our rep was Clark McClanathan. Does anyone know if he still works at the company?
