RAVEN Operation Guide

I see WEAPON/SCARLET-W guide was released last week, any ideas when the RAVEN operation guide will be available? Or are you guys still adding some surprises for us

Likely really, really soon.

Remember though, operating a Raven, Scarlet-W, or the various flavors of Weapons are alarmingly similar. If you can get familiar with one, it's fairly easy to dive into any other.

i think the max is 300 at 2k for scarlet and raven.

Jordan the 2k 8:1 at 400fps is off pg 81 frame rates table of the latest operation guide release for WEAPON/SCARLET-W, just wanted to verify this is correct and if so will RAVEN do the same as I also thought 300 was the max.

Red.com says 300fps 2k 8:1 for the Scarlet-W. DSMC2 user guide pdf says 400. I'm confused.
I wish Raven will have the same capability...

keep in mind 400fps is probably possible but thats at an aspect ratio of 8:1 not compression of 8:1. So basically pointless

Good call was reading fast and it is likely 8:1 ratio....that said this was shot 8:1 and is very interesting. Not ideal, but if possible, will take it for those experimental times https://vimeo.com/104297856

um, that is pretty cool actually, imagine shooting a whole film in that aspect ratio, crazy.

With MX we had 400 fps at 1K WS (basically 720p WS)... I wonder if it's possible with DSMC2 line as well....
