  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Here is a question, and excuse me if this has been addressed. Does the Raven have a Path to higher end cameras? or is it in its own class? for instance would is be reasonable to upgrade ravens along with scarlets to the new scarlet?

I am in a great spot. I sold my Scarlet MX just recently right before all this craze began...Raven came out a day before I was going to buy my new Scarlet D. Then I wait out of confusion Scarlet D becoming a duck. Now Jarred drops the bomb on a new Scarlet! I want to own again a RED Camera because I cannot leave without one! I am going nuts...I like this roller coaster....I am having fun....This roller coaster is like a catchy Rock Alternative song! I am just gonna have to write one! LOL

Any title suggestions?

Betcha its going to be capable of 8K stills. It isn't going to be released until after 8k Weapon. Would make sense and would put it in its own distinct space within the product line.

Does anyone know exactly what the lenses are hitting when using an EF-PL adapter? I thought the reason PL lens choices were limited was because they were hitting the DSLRs mirror assembly... I guess the rear element is actually hitting the underlying EF mount's throat?

Dude, I'm still crossing my fingers for 4.5kWS/24fps on Scarlet-X... Being that you just upped Raven's sensor-size/res on a whim, I'm thinking/dreaming Weapon-Scarlet could end up being 8k stills/6k-7k motion (or at least have an inevitable path to something similar with whatever sensor is after Dragon).
