Can anyone tell me what rig is carrying the Raven in this promo photo? I am trying to learn what it will take to get things airborne if needed.

Just from what I've heard from a lot of people working with Alta's is to stay away for the time being.

Potential is amazing, but apparently FreeFly has even told people to ground them until they're working properly. I've also seen a few broken ones out there already.

I also am pretty sure you'd need an M10 or M15. I'm sure the legs aren't to heavy, but they are attached to the gimbal itself.

Makes sense to go with M10, not much more weight and much more carrying capacity then M5.

Bummer about the ALTA, can't even fathom how hard it is to dial in the software/hardware combo on such an epic flying machine.

I Fly the ALTA and the Epic almost exclusively, it's a perfect match with the M10/M15. Freefly had a small problem and took care of it. It didn't effect any copters, but they found an issue and fixed it before it became a problem for end users.. No other company out there has done that for me. As for the weight the ALTA can carry --- you have to be careful not to overload it.. No giant lenses or big motors..
