  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Questions..?

Jarred,

XL Redvolts only work in the Quad Module at this point from what I have been able to determine. Is there any other battery module in the works to utilize those batteries?

According to Jim inthe demo, the current beta HW is dual simultameous 2K stereo @ 8bit with moderate ghosting. Tomorrow (literally or figuatively) it will be upgraded to 4K @ 10bit with reduced ghosting.

Jarred, my question: if there's a chance it will REALLY be tomorrow, can you tellus so.I can come back?

Hey Jarred, any news of new lenses being released? Possibly working with the Redmote Pro?

Thanks for taking the time to answer all our questions. So i have been wondering, last week I met this hot chick who said she wanted to party, we did, and ever since then there has been these red itchy bumps all around my.....oh wait maybe this isn't the right kind of question. damn.

Jarred, POWER MANAGEMENT is the single biggest thing I want/need. I'm surprised that it has been pushed down there. Please make it a priority. There is a lot of us who shoot in the natural world, and it pains me watch the battery levels drop so quickly. I'm about to head out to Africa to shoot for two week, 7 days of which are remote camping. NO POWER!!! I have to resort to using a crappy canon when my power dies. I'll be saying bad things about you, and will be thinking about sending an army of elephants your way. :mad5:

Anyone else feel the same?

power management just moved about 10 notches higher... heh heh heh :)

After everything else you guys have announced in the past 36 hours, I didn't think I could be blown away. The implications this will have for VFX work . . .

I don't even have a question. This is just . . . just . . . wow.

Just a reminder.. the next build in a couple weeks that adds this to the camera is our first official paid firmware upgrade, we will sell the download for $1400 or you can buy a hardcopy version on a limited special edition DVD for $1500.

heh heh just kidding.
