Three things that are not excusable...

Pretty sure this was a "check out what the camera can do" post, not a "what do you think of my work" post, so yeah, I'd probably hold off on the unsolicited feedback; and keep in mind you have no idea what the budget was, if anything.

Re: the footage, this looks exactly as fantastic as I was hoping it would! Great color/skin tones, and the internal mic sounds fantastic! That's such a nice plus for cheapo run-and-gun gigs or even ambient sound. I feel dumb dropping an extra $1k for the stormtrooper when I'm likely not going to be needing it for work till the black ones come out, but I'm so excited I kind of don't care XD

Wrong. All posts are "what do you think of my work". How you write, how you think, how you respond to others, how you test hardware, why you test it, etc. The audience innately knows how to interpret what it's seeing.

There are exceptions where the creator will say, "This is an uncalibrated camera, just testing the GS, no LUT, no black shade, this is what you're getting straight out of the box." But this ad was not such an exercise.

Everything is subject to criticism. You don't like it? Either don't post anything, or learn to take it. You never know - that harsh critique you got could save you a lot of heartache in the future. I'll never learn from the cheap sentiments of others.

I said nothing about budget, and neither did Curtis. It's not really our business, anyway.
