  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

ProLine T2000 steadicam group buy - Part II

Afaik they are in the manufacturing process right now. I asked already Luciano for some photos in the last mail to him. Hopefully we'll see some updates soon. They should ship in ~30-40 days.

Is anyone from this group going to RED Germany's opening party? Would be nice to see you there!

Go to the ProLine facebook page... there are many different ProLine rigs in use. The estimated delivery time when the group buy closed was 45 to 60 days, and as far as I know there are in time. There will be a nice extra feature included (can't tell you what), which is maybe gonna take some more days to produce.

An update from Luciano:

Ok David give me one week more and I ll star posting the pictures, and in 17 days all the parts should be done and ready to assemble. We had to make it with many suppliers to get everything in time because it was to much for just one factory.
Thanks a lot

Luciano

Is this still available?

I've been away on shoots for a few weeks and there are so many different threads about groubuys on steadicams now, it's a little daunting to catch up on haha.

Sorry Dave. It's been over for a while. I guess you'll have to play with mine :)

[QUOTE\]time frame for delivery is between 45 to maximum 60 days from today [/QUOTE]

Any updates? ;)

Thanks!

Its narrowing down... check out the Facebook page, theres been some updates there:

Here's the last mail by Luciano. He also talked about some surprises for our red edition, but asked me not to write about it before he tested them. "the first gears are gonna be ready for delivery around June 10 Th maybe before. we ll try to assemble all the gears together but will be shipping by one. I ll send you the pictures this week is been hard for me because we had to hire suppliers worldwide for the quantity and quality for the gears and take this to another level."!

A thought struck me. Anyone know if batteries are included? Even so, can the pinch be used to charge batteries?

Some updates on our rigs... all photos are taken from the ProLine facebook page. You can find more photos there.

And yes, that's Ted from RED trying out the T2000 reduser edition at Cinegear.

Sucks I missed this one.
But then I dont know what I should jump on first.
Looking at getting both a 3 axis gimbal and steadicam just over time.
Both need some learning time / workshop time.

Im start a thread gimbal vs stedaicam
Would like get every ones opinion on some of this.
and would it be better for some one to get a less priced steadicam to start with vs this one or ones that are more?

If you want the pro and cons of a Movi type device vs a steadicam, check out the Steadicam forums. It's pretty heated but there are may good points for each.
