Problems with Redmote Firmware upgrade?

Hi, has anyone else had problems with upgrading the Redmote Firmware?

Everything goes smoothly untill i attempt to establish a connection with the Redmote Software Wizard. I get a "unable to connect to the attached device"

Has anyone else had this problem?

Disconnect all your network devices, including ethernet and wireless. Go completely off the net. Then try again. Most likely there is a networking error in that you are trying to connect to the IP address of the Redmote, but that IP (or its subnet) is already assigned to another network port (wireless or ethernet). So by completely removing the computer from the networks you are on, the packets will be routed to the correct destination - the redmote.

Thanks for the suggestions!

Now it just attempts to connect to the host. Does not stop and give me the unable to connect message.

Could it be that I have recently upgraded to Lion?

What R3D said. we had this problem and had to turn off the airport on my laptop.

It must be a Lion issue. Just tried it with my girlfriends MacBook and it works. My two machines with Lion did not see the device while the other machine with Leopard saw it straight away.

Leopard works for me just fine
