The signal cuts out every other second from the xlr inputs and this strange glitch like a xerox machine is happening. When I hit record I get an “audio buffer overflow” warning.

I want this to be user error, the module seems to be in great shape.

The other thing is the I/o module is slowing down the response time of my touch screen. This thing seems like a pile of junk

Many questions. What camera and firmware? Also what media are you using?

I used the Pro I/O for literal years with no issues on two bodies. You shouldn't have any lag with the module on or off.

I have the EPIC MX "X" Model. The firmware is 6.3.106 and I am using the 128GB Mini Mag "grey".

I thought it might have been my lav mic's so I plugged in a phantom powered shotgun mic and the same thing happened.

Phil - Do you know what might be causing this? I tried downgrading the firmware, using different adapter modules and still the same thing. The 5.0 LCD Touch takes a bit longer to boot and its touch response is severely slower bordering on freezing sometimes and the LCD VF port is not working and the audio via the XLR is unusable, I can't even get the camera to record in 5K FF I get that audio buffer error. Could it be something in the settings? I really don't want to return the module but if I can't get any use out of it I will. Thanks in advance for any help you might be able to give :)

Update: I tried the SDI ports and they are not even sending out a signal to my HD SDI Monitor. When i turn the audio off in the camera I can record with the PRO IO attached, but the moment i turn it on to channel 1/2 or 3/4 the red locks up for a min and then i get the audio buffer overflow warning. Audio preview still sounds glitchy.

If anyone has any answers or solutions for me to try before tuesday im all ears. If I can't get it working by then its going back. Bummed out as I was looking forward to having XLR audio on my EPIC...
