  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

PRICING & BACKORDERS

Horrible idea. Please do not do this. I have seen people skipping the line for certain items in the past and this rubbed me the wrong way for sure. Whether people should be able to order accessories without a camera while others wait for them who have cameras seems wrong but to figure out a way to administer this out would be more trouble than it is worth.

You can post a WTB or FS now and get anything you want currently. There is no need for RED management to add complication to the process. Markets efficiently decide value.

I bought my U2 concert tickets from StubHub. I don't expect U2 to develop some form Who Wants it More system of pricing. They, like RED, are too busy being the best at what they do and so don't need to fuck with things better done by the aftermarket.

My last post on this - if anyone wants to debate further please PM me.

Not trying to have the last word here, but you've missed my main point... which is, my plan was actually aimed at making accessories more affordable for the less affluent.

All true. I just threw this up for debate and hopefully, other ideas. All I've seen so far is a vote for the status quo. Nothing wrong with that.
