For any of you AC/DP folks using the new Preston remote start/stop I wanted to give you a heads up that it disengages the left side record on/off, AWB, and Image zoom functions. Once finished go within the button assign menu and reengage the buttons. I recently had a chance to use the new Preston remote start/stop on a Videogame commercial while using a 30ft Technocrane.

Your camera's not broken....

At first I thought it was a voltage polarization issue but since I needed to catch a plane for a 2 week ABC project I couldn't get into the details. I got one of the first units from Preston so it is quite possible that the cable was the issue. It sounds like a isolated issue according to both your experiences.....

Ukrainian handmade wireless remote start/stop

Ukrainian handmade wireless remote start/stop

hi all. There was a necessity removed start/stop on Technocrane.
For one day has collected wireless remote start/stop.
The distance of 30 meters works from three АА 1,5 V

Nice little Car beeper to go with it. Boop Beep.....

Having a start stop integrated into the FIZ makes things alot easier.....

I do like having a beeep for record, then a beep, beep for stop roll.

Hi Dane

No problem here with the Preston wireless and Preston cables disengaging the buttons.
Its always better to check a second system before posting problems.
