  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

I canceled my Rocket-X order until this gets sorted out. The "HD" formats are all I use. 4KHD works, but none of the rest do....
 
Just wanted to get this thread up again...and wanted to know if anything is changing in the near future :D
 
Agreed. It's a bit crazy that this has not been addressed yet. I just met several other people who have been experiencing this same issue. Also, I forgot to mention that I had sent my Rocket in to Red (before I sold it) for a $100 evaluation and they sent it back saying nothing was wrong... that was before I knew it was just an issue with the 5KHD format and Premiere. I hope this gets fixed soon.
 
Im having the issue where i can playback a R3D 5K file but as soon as i even attempt to playback or drag a 5K QT LT proxie to a timeline or in the viewer it crashes. No Red Rocket card installed and on Premiere CC- is that the same ballpark issue that everyone else is having?

This is a different issue than mine. My issue involves the 5KHD format in Premiere with a rocket enabled (on a PC) does not work- locks up. The issue is repeatable with everyone I know and has been there since the 5KHD format was released back in 12/2012

Actually the rest do work...
I have done about 8 finished hours of 3kHD stuff without a hitch...actually had rocket renders to H.264 in under 20 minutes for 1/2hr of footage....
4kHD aslo works as you know...

But 5kHD has been the issue for over a year now...I just avoid filming in it now...have given up on it being fixed

Same here (I think).

Anybody had issues with multicam in the latest release? Playback is smooth until I switch cameras, then major lag for a second or two.

I'm pretty sure I've isolated this as a premiere cc issue since I've seen it on 2 computers and setting up the same multicam is smooth as butter on CS6, which I've now gone back to for this project. Super frustrating.
