... Are still broken. Was hoping to see bug fixes implemented with the R3D source settings, but it seems like old projects still don't update with access to the R3D in the new Master Effect settings.

Good news is the app loads extremely fast, and there are no stability problems on my system anymore. Seems like everything is in working order aside from the feature that's probably keeping all of us from making the switch. Assuming new projects work as advertised - will check on that soon.

Also... after updating, it seems that AME is exporting 3x as slow. Not sure what happened there. I see in my resource monitor that my CPU (8-core i7) is barely being used at 6-10%.

That sucks to hear. Was really hoping they'd fix the source bug. At least my brand new projects will play better it seems. I had one project completely not even allow me to access source settings on my R3d footage at all. It was weird.

Just to clarify you have to highlight the clip you want to adjust source settings on, then click effects panel, then click the master tab to the left of the default effects panel.

Hope that save someone the head ache that I have been going though. Why adobe changed this the world may never know.

Also frustrating because it appears one can no longer copy and paste source setting attributes.

Edit: never mind you can copy the settings from one clip to another by selecting same master effects panel and copy then select next clip and master panel and paste.

To note, this only works on new CC15 projects only. While I thought this was going to stop me from moving from CC14 (because Source Settings was removed from the timeline's contextual menu), I noticed you can keybind Source Settings to any key command... Which is arguably much faster than the new Master Clip effects panel anyway. So far I've found CC15 to work like a charm, and have a bit more stability and speed increase over CC14. The ability to use DragonColor2 is also a treat.

Hello!
I just started my first CC2015 project, and while everything is working fine with regard to adjusting source settings, I'm really missing the old dialogue box that emulated the interface in REDCine. Is there a way of working with that rather than this wonky new effect control panel?

Thanks!

Hi Bill,
You can still go to the source file in projectwindow and rightclick to open the main settings; then go to other options to find the RED R3d settings.

It took me some time to find this too... BUT I must say I find CC15 to be one of the worst updates of any software of all times! Most things are much(!) slower and a lot of plug-ins don't work as they should. I'll roll back to CC14.
Really hope there will come an update fixing this really soon...

There is is!
Thanks!

Please show me a screenshot of this? I cannot find it. Right-clicking on a clip in the project window doesn't give my a menu which contains "Main Settings" or "Other Options"... definently not any R3D settings. Only way I can get to the R3D settings is under "Effect Controls", when double clicking the clip... tedious.

Yesterday I was working on a project with mixed Scarlet, Epic and Dragon footage from 2012-present. I noticed that the newer R3D files loaded faster that the old ones even though they're much bigger files. Also, on half the old Scarlet footage, the fx motion (by default, each clip that you add to a Timeline panel has the Motion effect applied as a fixed effect) was totally missing; I had to scale these files and found myself creating a preset and copying/pasting the fx motion into each clip! Buggy and slower than before.

Sorry to hijack this thread but how are you folks re-linking multiple files back from Proxy to R3Ds?

I inherited a project with over 500 clips and trying to link the RED files back into Premiere.

Reload from RMD appears to not be working now, anyone else having this issue?

Reload from RMD button is not working.
Anyone?
i work on XML with RedCine and them i come reloading all metadatas.
